Purple d'Oro Daylily
Hemerocallis 'Purple d'Oro'
Zone 4-10
Lavender purple blooms with yellow centers bring outstanding beauty during the summer months. Dark-purple veins add intense contrast to each of the 6 petals. Mounding, grassy foliage provides a great backdrop for the blooms.
Plant in full to part sun and water regularly until established. Drought tolerant once established. A moderate grower that can reach 14" tall and 12" wide. Easy to care for and tolerate a wide variety of soils. Cut down to a few inches in early winter when foliage loses colors.
