Plant of the Week: Winter Aconites

Winter Aconites Eranthis hyemalis Zone 3-7

One of the earliest flowering bulbs available. Bright yellow flowers shine against the dark green backdrop. Plant in full sun for best growth, but will tolerate partial sun. Prefers well drained soils.

Space 4" apart and 2-3" deep. Can reach up to 6" of height. Little to no maintenance and will eventually start self seeding and naturalizing in the area.
