Plant of the Week: Winterglut

Pigsqueak Bergenia crassifolia 'winterglut' Zone 3-8

Dainty pink flowers appear in late spring. Remove spent bloom stalks for a cleaner look. The large, thick foliage turns beautiful colors in the fall.

Plant in part shade to full shade. Can reach 12" tall and 18" wide. Blooms appear in late spring. Cut to a few inches above ground in early winter.
