Monkshood (Wolf's bane) Aconitum napellus Zone 3-7

Although beautiful, this plant is highly toxic. Touching this plant with an ungloved hand and then touching your lips will cause tingling and numbness.

Can reach 3' tall and 2' wide. Full sun to part shade. Blooms in mid to late summer. Water regularly for best growth. Prune after blooms are spent to get a second bloom.
