Question of the Week: Overspray with Grass Sprayers

Q: My grass sprayers are shooting water onto my patio. What is going on with them, do they need to be adjusted?

A: No matter how perfectly they are adjusted, there will always be overspray (mostly due to wind). However, sprayers do have a habit of losing their adjustment, so if you see it spraying water where it should be, it will need to be adjusted.

There are several different manufacturers of sprayers and each one had to be adjusted in different ways. Some require keys, while others just need the tabs to be adjusted. It would be best to do an online search on how to adjust them. Or if you are a client of ours and we maintain your irrigation system, simply ask us for an adjustment!
