Transformation Tuesday: Blending Beauty, Function, and Sustainability

This project began with removing outdated gravel, metal edging, coyote fencing, and overgrown rose bushes, clearing the way for a more cohesive design. A natural moss rock border was replaced with a river rock feature, improving drainage while enhancing the aesthetic of the water feature area.
Santa Fe brown gravel was used to complement the space for a warm and natural look, while carefully placed flagstone stepstones provide a structured and inviting pathway. Bark mulch was added to planting beds to retain moisture and enrich the soil.
A variety of drought-tolerant plants were introduced, including Agave, Sunflower, Karl Foerster Grass, Spirea, Potentilla, Lavender, and a mix of cacti. These selections bring color, texture, and seasonal interest while thriving in the arid climate.
The clients were happy to see how these elements came together to create a refreshed and sustainable landscape!
