Transformation Tuesday: Low-Maintenance, High-Impact
This project showcases the potential of xeriscaping to create a sustainable and visually stunning outdoor space. A natural moss rock border was added to define the area, paired with drought-tolerant plants like agave, prickly pear, and yucca. Character boulders provide texture and interest, while gravel and bark mulch were used to create distinct lower and upper levels that are both functional and low-maintenance.
By incorporating xeric perennials and sustainable materials, this transformation highlights the balance between water conservation and timeless beauty, offering a thoughtful approach to landscaping that thrives in an arid climate.
Look at the before and after photos from two different angles to see how this space has been completely revitalized from every perspective.
