Transformation Tuesday: Revamping the Outdoors

Our client had a landscaped yard, but weeds were taking over the gravel, and the area above the retaining wall looked empty. She also wanted a large flagstone patio since the porch area could only fit a chair or two.

We designed a yard that provides year-round beauty. We installed a spacious flagstone patio off the porch, giving the client the room she wanted. Flagstone steps were added for easy access to the side gate. Dry river beds were trenched from each canale to divert rainwater from the roof.

To add year-round interest with minimal maintenance, we planted large Pampas Grass and an Austrian Pine on the ground level. On top of the retaining wall, we planted seven Pine trees that will grow tall, spread wide, and create a beautiful focal point for the client to enjoy from inside and outside the home.
